No matter how often or how many times I witness or experience the power of the Gospel, I am still just thoroughly amazed each time. Last night I started to bed. I turned on the streaming of the Prophet Marvin Barham bringing the Gospel at Eastgate Ministries. I listened as he brought forth the Gospel and then began to minister "prophetically" to people. Rev. 19:10 "for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophesy". I have been in a long physical battle and have been seeking the Lord for a key to end that. I was not thinking of that as I was listening; however: as Rev 19:10 visited my home and opened the heavens and cleared the spiritual static...I heard very clearly THE KEY I had been seeking the Lord for. It wasn't something big and elaborate, just a simple word of knowledge. I spoke aloud and took authority and broke the power of what the Lord revealed and instantly felt it break in the spirit...today I am sensing the reality of it in the natural. Jesus is so faithful and true. According to the plan of His father...he takes the mouth of a faithful servant and friend to release his sword in the earth realm, crush the plan of the enemy and bring healing and deliverance to his people. HE is TRULY AMAZING!!!!!!! Thank you, Lord Jesus for your faithfulness and for the work you have done in and through your servant and friend Marvin Barham. Carolyn, I want to thank you for sending the pictures on to us. My husband, Larry, and I have been listening to Marvin on our computer and marvel at the similarities between him and Johnny. We are happy that Marvin is being supported so well while he is here. We will try to be there tonight, but I am still at work. I know service was wonderful. I called you back on yesterday my trainer was so blessed the other night. She just remarried in January, her husband is in China right now and she told him she has got to bring him the church. A lot of fruit is coming forth from these meetings with Marvin. Marvin Barham gave Roxanne a word that the Lord was going to give her poems. Church was WONDERFUL last night. I felt at though God was stirring something new in my spirit. This morning when I was on my way to the gym I felt a breakthough -- God gave me a poem. I turned around & came home to write it down. This poem is specifically for the people Ginny & I visit at the alzheimer's home. My spirit is no longer heavy & I feel a new commission from God. I feel that this is just the beginning & God will give me more poems to reach these people. Since the patients have short attention spans, God will quicken the words to their hearts. Thank you for listening to God & prophescying to me about poems. I never in a million years thought that God would use my peoms to further his kingdom -- which only goes to show how much more that God will use any & everything if we're willing to give it to him. Carolyn I want to thank you again for hosting Marvin Barham. and just having you in my life has changed it so much. I wanted to tell you more about John's little brother. He seemed to be in the last few years on a long downward spiral. His wife recently got sober and they are getting divorced. When Kelly and Austin stayed here we prayed every morning for his salvation. I had gotten very discouraged becasue he was alot like his dad . After the recent meetings I asked God How do I pray for him? I heard bind religious spirits.i told kelly that and we were confused -- he did not know the Lord or so we thought. Well I responded to an email he sent me a few days ago and witnessed how much the Lord loved him and I got back that he had given his life to God. His longtime neighbors are Baptist and took him to church. I also let John know , I am sure it has shocked him!!! God answered those prayers . - Sharon Farmer
I apologize profusely for just now getting to this. I can hardly believe that I am just now seeing this, but it is true. Well here goes -- All my life God has given me poems for special occasions & I have thought nothing of it. After Bro. Marvin gave me that word God gave me this poem:
There was a woman at the well
And of her story He did tell
He spoke of all the things she'd done
Of course He did, He was God's son
Of your story He knows, too
And if you ask, He'll forgive you
Ginny & I go the the Alzheimer's Center once a week and these people can't pay attention long enough for a Bible lesson, so a short poem is a perfect Bible lesson for them. I am so excited about God opening this new door. I had no idea that poems could be used in this way. This week God is giving me a poem about Daniel in the lion's den. Thanks Bro. Angel assigned to destroy cancer among the Saints of God: One evening while I was preparing to depart for a meeting God spoke to me and said, "I am creating a new angelic being. Its specific assignment will be to the spirit of cancer among My people. My people will begin to be hgealed of cancer and I will be lgorified and show just How Great a God I AM." During the service that evening many request for prayer for Saints who have cancer were brought forth. We began to lift these in prayer and an incredible prophetic anointing fell. The next morning I was awakened at 6 am. I moved to a sofa in the front room of the home I was in. Suddenly, I felt a strong presence of someone in the room with me. I said, "Lord, is that You?" God said, "The angel I told you of is here." So I opened my eyes and looked intensely seeing nothing. I replied, "God, I want to see him." God then told me to close my eyes. When I did I could see the face of this angelic being, mighty, strong and aggressive. He had a face of polished brass with reflections of flames flickering in its countenance. And God said, "I will heal cancer among My people and the world will want to know how the people of faith are finding Victory over cancer and My name will be glorified." After returning from this trip I was in bed one night and could not sleep. I could not get the image of this angel out of my mind. God spoke to me and said, “Get up and draw it, make copies and share with My people who are battling cancer.” I obeyed and pray whatever God has in store for you is made manifest to the glory of His name. May our Lord open His gates wide to you this year! Thank you for forwarding the prayer request on behalf of the Trotter family. They are all very thankful for the prayers...and the knowledge of the prayers has brought them great comfort. Also, wanted to let you know...of an angelic encounter report through one of the ladies who attends a healing group that we have locally. I believe this relates to the email you forwarded from Brother Barham. My friend's husband was hospitalized the day after Christmas. The physicians still do not know quite what happened. It was a strange occurrence. This young woman's father had also received a recent
negative report regarding the return of cancer. The angelic encounter: ...as my friend was visiting her husband in the hospital a couple of days ago...she went to the side of his bed...he became startled. She asked him if he was alright. His statement to her was..."you stepped right in front of the angel that is beside my
bed...she is beautiful like shining gold....very tall, big...beautiful..." On Sunday evening, prior to her telling me this event...but after it had actually occurred...we had prayed for angels to minister to her husband. This is what prompted her giving me this report. Immediately I remembered the email you had forwarded a few weeks ago of the "angel the Lord created and is sending to bring healing to God's people who have been battling cancer". I told my friend of this email...forwarded the email to her. She printed it out and took it to her husband. She will also give this to her father. I believe this is the angel the Lord allowed her husband to see. By this man's own account..."he has not been taken to this type of occurrence before...and does not speak of these types of things occurring..." I visited him
yesterday, in the hospital...and had opportunity to pray with the family. His hospital room assignment was Room 228 (look at Acts 2:28:). I encouraged him to pray for his father-in-law...to lay hands on him...and believe for this man's healing also...The Lord is with them and has sent them this sign of encouragement and healing. My friend's husband was released from the hospital yesterday early evening- 12/31/2007. This man also works in the medical field...and has now
taken this to heart to reach those that he serves....Thought this would be of encouragement and for great thankfulness to our Lord Jesus...He is coming soon...that the Glory of our Lord is made manifest upon the earth as it is in Heaven...
